Physical Assessment Simulator Physiko

Made in Japan

Physiko is a physical assessment training simulator for students of medical and nursing programs. Preset patients scenarios facilitate trainings in assessment procedures, as well as hands-on knowledge with important abnormal findings. Your own scenarios can be created for various trainings and individual skills training is also available.

Physical Assessment Mode (Patient Cases)
Physiko's twelve preset patients cover typical outpatient complaints such as chest pain or smothering sensations.

Chest Pain cases conditions include:

New Features for “Phisiko Plus”

Learning-to-listen
“Learning-to-Listen” training: teaching medical students to anticipate, describe, and identify physical examination findings. The goal of
“Learning-to-Listen” is to provide learners with deliberate practice in the recognition and interpretation of clinical findings obtained during
the auscultation of the heart sound.

Modules with Contrasting Scenarios
  • 9 modules facilitate learning for all students of medical and nursing programs:
  • In each module, preset patients are prepared for individual physical assessment.
  • After the physical assessment, trainees can take programmed heart sound test to recognize their level of understanding.
Modules are:
  • Heart Rhythms
    • Module 1: Sinus Tachycardia vs. Atrial Fibrillation
    • Module 2: PVC vs. Atrial Fibrillation
  • Heart Sounds
    • Module 3: Physiologic Split S2 vs. S3
    • Module 4: Physiologic Split S2 vs. S4
    • Module 5: S3 vs. S4
  • Heart Murmurs
